Random Ramblings Of An Imperfect Girl, Loved by a Perfect God.

I was recently given a lesson from the Lord that I will not soon forget. I have struggled lately with writing and with feelings of imposter syndrome. I have asked many times for help, but everything stayed quiet. For weeks, no words came. No familiar peace. No feeling of closeness. Well, I recently attended FaithFest 2026. I was extremely excited as some of my favorite artists were appearing this year and I would get to spend time with family. Unbeknownst to everyone I was struggling with my inability to write and my feelings of unworthiness. This weekend ended up being exactly what I needed to rekindle my fire. Worshipping in the heat and rain with over 30,000 people. Listening to speakers speak the word of God and lead so many back to the cross was amazing. But what I took away from the experience was, connections.

We were not created to be on our own. We were created to be one with our creator. God looked at man and realized it was not good for him to be alone, so he created woman from man’s rib to symbolize that they are meant to walk through life side by side. Throughout the bible we as believers are referred to as the body of Christ, all working in unison for a common goal, to reach others with the good news of God. We are the church and we were made for community and connection.

‘For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them. ‘

Not only are we meant to be connected to each other as the church, but we are also meant to be connected to our Heavenly Father and our Lord and Savior. The thing that drove this home is the fact that thousands of people sat in the rain and continued to praise the Lord as if we were all sitting in a church sanctuary. The only thing that mattered in that moment was giving God the praise and the glory. It was so powerful to witness and to be a part of.

“Oh come, let us sing to the LORD; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods.”

We were never meant to walk through life alone. We have a God who loves us, a Savior who died for us, and a family of believers to walk along side us. Even in the storms we will be okay. Have a blessed night y’all!
