The Bible says to be enter his courts with thanksgiving and praise. (Psalm 100:4 KJV). If you are like me it’s easy to get caught up in my day and get distracted by everything the world throws at you and you forget to be grateful. God woke you up this morning. He isn’t done with you yet. Your life and your story could be the motivation some needs. Your struggles can give someone else hope. Your tests can easily turn into a testimony when God is the center of your day.
”Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. Serve the LORD with gladness: Come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the LORD he is God: It is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; We are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, And into his courts with praise: Be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; And his truth endureth to all generations.“—Psalm 100:1-5 KJV
God wants to hear from you and he wants to answer your prayers. Because he is such a loving and gracious God. Life can distract but it’s important to govern God the glory and praise he richly deserves. We are blessed beyond measure even in the midst of the worst days. Start your day by thanking God for one thing. Make it a habit. And you will be shocked how much a kernel of gratitude changes the perspective of your whole day. God Bless!
