Random Ramblings Of An Imperfect Girl, Loved by a Perfect God.

As the New Year approaches it’s easy to get caught up in plans for next year. All the resolutions you want to start, the places you want to go, the experiences you want to have. The truth is, we have no control over the future. But the author of our stories knows exactly what will happen. He is in our past, beside us in the present, and already waiting in the future.

”Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right. A man’s heart deviseth his way: But the LORD directeth his steps.”—Proverbs 16:8-9 KJV

Control is an illusion, something I have had to learn over time. We can try and plan out every step on the path but in reality if it is not part of God’s will, it will not happen. We cannot force our will on God, he listens and shakes his head like parent listening to a child. Turn everything over to God this new year, and hang on tight because you will never guess where you might end up.
