“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.”

God chose you to witness this time. God chose you to witness the miracles and the signs happening in the world right now. He chose you for this time. He chose you for this day, this moment, this time. You are right where you need to be.

“But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. For among them are those who creep into households and capture weak women, burdened with sins and led astray by various passions, always learning and never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth.”

None of the things happening in the world right now are random or completely unforeseen. God is setting the stage for our final redemption. Corruption can not stand. Evil will not win. God is coming for his people. We are watching prophecy unfold before our eyes. God is showing us who he is and what he will do. The world is broken and being led to damnation by the deceiver himself. But he will not win. He lost the war a long time ago. Our God is the God of Truth and the God of Light. Lies and deceptions will not stand when facing the Almighty God of Abraham. The best and most powerful thing we can do for our world now is to lay everything at the throne. Give God everything we love, everything we hold dear, and most of all give God the battles we are facing. The God of Angel Armies will fight for you. You are not alone. You are not forgotten.
