Why is it that we live in the past, extensively plan for the future, and forget the here and now? I am very guilty of this. But in doing this we miss the miracles of the present.
The past is to learn from. We don’t live there anymore. God brought us out of that time like he brought the Israelites out of the wilderness. The Israelites were in the wilderness because of their own choices. They gave in to the fear of the future while coveting the comfort and security of the past. They missed the fact that God was with them the entire time.
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”

God works in the present, he has written our future, and he brought us out of our past. He has forgiven our sins and remembers them no more. He knows our name and knows the plans he has for us, we just need to rest in his love and goodness. Have a blessed night y’all!
