I’ve always wondered if what I do makes a difference. Do my actions and my words really make a difference in people’s lives? Am I truly reflecting Jesus in my every day life? In truth we may never know the impact we have on others. And I believe that is the point. All we can do is our best and give God the life we are living. In truth, we are supposed to decrease so Jesus can increase in our life (John 03:30 KJV). The deeper our relationship with Christ, the more he works through our life.
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”
—Ephesians 2:8-10 KJV
We are called to be in the world but not of the world. We were set apart for our purpose and our season. God knows what we need and who needs us. If our paths are meant to cross, it will happen in God’s perfect timing.
