Have you ever had days where everything just keeps piling up on you one after the other? Like you are terrified to even ask what else could possibly go wrong. Sometimes those days feel like they outnumber the good days. Those days are just one tiny step in a long journey. They may feel like they are going to last forever when really they are gone in the blink of an eye. We have a divinely appointed job to do in the here and now. God gave us a purpose and he gave us the platform on which we are standing. We have work to do and time is moving quickly. Even in the worst days you can show the light of Jesus to someone else.

“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.”
