I love to paint and to draw, have since I was little. My school notebooks and any piece of scratch paper I could find I would doodle on; put a canvas and paint in front of me and I was in my happy place. However I struggle with feelings of inadequacy and with feeling like a fraud. To the point I gave up on the thing I love most.
”Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.”—James 1:17
God gives us gifts and passions that we can use to glorify him and to bring us closer to him. He knows what we can do, he knows what he has given us and he has a plan. We just have to step out in faith and trust that he will show us how to use our gifts to bring others closer to him.
