Have you ever looked at an ad or a post on social media and the first thing that pops in your head is I need that to be complete? Have you ever snapped at someone just because the fact that they have something you want annoys you? Envy is the most difficult deadly sin to deal with, all because it happens unconsciously. I am guilty of this and I am sure you are too. It is a part of being human, we think we need things, people, or wealth to make us feel complete.
”As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:“—Colossians 2:6-10 KJV
A truly full life cannot be bought or given by other people. Love and happiness cannot be traded or sold. Life at its fullest is only found in Christ. You may not have everything you have ever wanted but God always makes sure you have what you truly need. His will is perfect and he has written a better story for you than you can ever imagine.
