Ok, I’m going to get kind of personal for a moment.
I am 30 years old, still single, with no prospects other than feeling lonely. It doesn’t matter how many people I have around me or how many events fill my calendar. I feel incomplete to the point of physical pain sometimes. I hide it well I think but I’m tired of putting up the facade.
That being said, I woke up this morning with a song stuck in my head that I hadn’t heard since 2002. It is “Impossible” by Joe Nichols, and it hit me right in the heart. Because when things seem impossible is when God works his miracles. God can use pain and loneliness of one person to help another. God can create a way when there is no way. Nothing, I mean NOTHING is impossible for the mighty God we serve.
”And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. And they that heard it said, Who then can be saved? And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.“—Luke 18:24-27 KJV
What is and always will be impossible for us is more than possible with God. He is our way maker and our provider. What he has ordained will always happen on his time not ours. His timing is perfect.
Have a blessed day everyone!
