According to Merriam-Webster, doubt is defined as to call into question the truth of or to be uncertain of. As Christians we are told never to doubt God’s plan for our lives. However, I know me personally, we are very much human. Human nature is to doubt, question, fear and give in to anxiety. I’ve been told many times. God can take our questions and our fears and our anxieties. He knows what we need or want to ask before we even ask it but he wants to hear it from us.
“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.”—James 1:5-6 KJV
What ever doubts or concerns we have, God can handle it. He wants to hear from us because hearing from us is the beginning of a true relationship with God. He loves us more than anything and he is always here so we don’t feel alone.
