It’s easy to see something broken as something flawed and unusable. To pick out every little detail and find all the faults. I often feel this way because of past mistakes and past failures. I tend to beat myself up in the present because of something from the past, and this makes it hard to see the bright future God has planned for me.
“Many are the afflictions of the righteous: But the LORD delivereth him out of them all.”—Psalm 34:19 KJV
God is in control. He can make beauty from ashes and use our past to bring peace to others. He can use every piece of us and make us whole again. We may be broken but we are also redeemed.
